El equipo U-15 de Miami Springs dirigido atinadamente por Gustavo Madrid, José Pérez, Juan Gridggio y Juan Najarro, están luchando palmo a palmo por el segundo lugar de la clasificación de la PRE - Temporada y este fin de semana tienen un encuentro de vital importancia rumbo a conquistar la cima de la tabla de posiciones, estos jóvenes han demostrado una gran técnica así como un muy buen trabajo en lo físico y lo mental, lo cual los ha llevado a lograr 3 campeonatos en diferentes categorías.

Si hay algo que resaltar de este equipo es el mensaje del cuerpo directivo, pues se trabaja en base a honestidad y buenos conceptos como regla primera, los jóvenes son guiados de esta manera combinando lo físico y lo mental nunca olvidando aquello que dice: Mente sana en cuerpo sano, esto se refleja con los buenos resultados y el gran ambiente familiar que se vive día a día tanto en el entrenamiento como en los cotejos.
Habrá que seguir de cerca los pasos de estas futuras promesas del balónpie y a sus dirigentes, pues en un futuro no muy lejano podrían impactar a propios y extraños en su búsqueda por dejar huella en el deporte mas popular del mundo el futbol, mismo que afortunadamente crece día a día insospechadamente en los Estados Unidos, los tendremos informados a través de Golazo Deportivo de los objetivos y metas cumplidas de esta seria organización que sin duda esta poniendo ejemplo a aquellos que ensucian el futbol y a la larga manchan el deporte y el nombre de todos aquellos que amamos el deporte de los goles, hasta la proxima.
Florida ODP #1 in the Southeast
In 2009 we had a record year in terms of players from our Florida Youth Soccer Association State Teams. The main purpose at regional camp was to promote our players the best we could at Region III camp in Alabama so they may be selected to the Region III pools. At our regional camps in July, we had a record 107 players make the Region III pool for ages 1992-1996. Our 93 and 94 boys and girls teams qualified for the Region III ODP Championships in January. We have 53 FYSA players with Full or Youth National Teams.
The Olympic Development Program for the 2009-2010 is charged with identifying and training the best players Florida has to offer between the birth year s 1993-1997. It is an elite program designed to identify the elite players. To that end a player may be identified through two areas: trials and scouting. Our FYSA staff also was involved in the scouting process and we will continue to expand our program. There was a great amount of cooperation between our staff and US Soccer in identifying and evaluating players.
We will be identifying the top 54-72 players in the state, both boys and girls in the 1996 and 1997 age groups. We form 3 to 4 teams from this pool to train and compete at the Region III. They will be exposed to the top state, region, college, and national team coaches throughout this process.
